ABOUT KAI

Kai is an actor, singer, and dancer with a BFA in Acting & Directing from Stephen F. Austin State University. Kai is originally from Houston, Texas, but is currently based in Buffalo, New York. Kai has worked with various theatre companies around the country such as MSU Summer Theatre. Kai also has the pleasure of performing on the stages of numerous theatres in Western New York, such as the Irish Classical Theatre, Theatre of Youth, 2nd Generation Theatre, the Kenan Center, Ujima Theatre Company, and the Brazen-Faced Varlets. Kai has also appeared in various short films and company training industrials.

When not on the stage, Kai serves as the Audience Services and Office Coordinator at the D'Youville Kavinoky Theatre. Kai is also an alumnus of the Alpha Psi Omega National Theatre Honor Society and served as the president of The Fredonia Players Classical Theatre Troupe, a member of Crescendo Musical Theatre, and On Display: Devised Theatre!

Kai enjoys k-pop, rock music, anime, k-dramas, voice acting, reading horror novels, and watching horror movies!​​

Kai has several awards and recognitions! She was a 34th Annual Artie Award Nominee for Outstanding Leading Actress in a Play and was the 2023 recipient of the Kennedy Center Irene Ryan Region 6 National Runner-Up acting scholarship and award for excellence in acting.
